Chitkul

Popularly known as the last inhabited village of India, Chitkul is a small village located near Indo-Tibetan border in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh in Northern India. Due to its proximity to snow-capped mountains of Baspa Ranges in the mighty Himalayas, Chitkul remains very cold year-around and receives a lot of snow during winters.
